In 2013, CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center (CVRMC) selected the Sky Center/NMSIP as the leading community agency to deliver wraparound, therapeutic, and non-traditional services for children and adolescents referred from CSVRMC and its associated medical clinics.  Many of the youth seen have acute behavioral health issues stemming from drug and alcohol abuse, including prescription drugs; childhood trauma; depression and anxiety; and suicidal thoughts. A multitude of preventative care services are provided: family and group counseling, identification and fostering of mentoring relationships, parent coaching, connection to primary care and medication management.
