THE HEART OF TEACHING A DAYLONG MINDFULNESS RETREAT FOR EDUCATORS

Saturday, March 4, 2017, 9-5 at Mountain Cloud Zen Center WHEN: Program time, 10am – 4pm, Saturday March 4, 2017. Optional arrival time 9 – 10am for greetings, coffee & tea. Optional hour after retreat 4 – 5pm for questions, networking & clean-up. WHAT TO EXPECT: This retreat is intended to offer participants the opportunity to slow-down, unplug, and discover how creating more pause for themselves and their students may benefit their work in education. This retreat is open to all those who play a role in the field of education, at any level of practice experience: the beginner and the long-time mindfulness practitioner alike. The day itself will include guided instruction by expert teacher Henry Shukman and time for small group dialogue. Topics will include best practices for teaching mindfulness in schools and how to create and/or sustain your own practice after the retreat. A program schedule will be provided to retreat registrants. WHERE: Mountain Cloud Zen Center, 7241 Old Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe WHO:  Mindful Education Santa Fe (MESF) in collaboration with Rio Grande Mindfulness Institute (RGMI), is pleased to offer this day-long secular retreat for teachers, counselors and administrators in Santa Fe schools. MESF is a program of The Sky Center/NMSIP, and RGMI is a program of Mountain Cloud Zen Center. Registration:  Space is limited.
